I attended the show @ the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA August 1st and noticed a line and a security guard. I asked what the line was for and he said meet and greet. I just bought tix for his show in Stockton and would like to do a meet and greet! I'm taking my friend for her birthday. Any info anyone??

Such a great show this past Friday at Troubadour in West Hollywood with John Legend and The Roots performing songs from their forthcoming album "Wake Up!" Common came out as a surprise guest and rapped to "Wake Up Everybody" and also brought us back to "They Say." John Legend also surprised us with his old school songs like "Ordinary People," "Save Room," and "Green Light" and also covered the Stevie Wonder hit "I Love Every Little Thing About You." It was such an AMAZING show!! Can't wait for the "Wake Up!" album to come out September 21, 2010. Meanwhile, enjoy youtube clips I took of that night at the following link:

My profile picture was the first time I saw John Legend in concert. I as stationed in Brunswick, Me and he came to South Portland, Me to do a show. It was amazing, because the show felt up close and personal to everyone. Thanks John Legend for such great experiences through your music.

Who am I?
I am the one who, despite and utterly selfish nature, God chose as caretaker, teacher and nurturer for two totally independent little sinners. I have the toughest job anyone will ever love. Throughout the course of the day, I busied myself in the kitchen, preparing breakfast and snacks, cleaning spills, has to know who hates onion on top of the corned beef, has to know that my son has basketball practice, that my daughter has piano lesson and needs a muse attire. I drive them to school and I arrive in my major class just in time. We fight over going home early. answering homework questions. I am battle-weary from refereeing squabbles over who did or did not tease the other. Still, I endure.
I am a cooker of fried rice, hotdog, egg and a cleaner of topsy turvy bedroom. A driver, nurse, spider collector, high school mucical CD/DVD collector, purchaser of bond papers erasers pencils folders with fasteners, pencil finder, tutor, 24 hour laundry service, shoe shiner, waitress, dish washer, dental appointment maker, encourager of dreams and holder of hands. I am a tear wiper and boo boo kisser, the toothbrushing gestapo and an example of FAITH. You know who I am.

Today, I am posting in hopes that this community and John Legend will take a stand against human trafficking. John Legend has always appealed to me as an artist, who uses his platform to promote great causes.
Here is a great cause, we can all easily join and become modern day abolitionists. It just takes a few seconds to log onto http://bit.ly/tbsecpatusa and sign our petition aimed to make legislative changes for children, who face the threat of trafficking. This petition provides critically needed support, protection, and rehabilitative services to our society's children! I really urge each one of you to sign the petition!

i just came back from your FUN concert at the oc fair. it's the 4th time i've seen you perform (3x's in concert; 1x w/ stevie wonder at his holiday show in la). my husband has come with me 3 of the 4 times. i thanked him tonight for coming with me all these times. his response is that he goes with me because he likes to see me happy. going to see the music performed live, that i listen to almost daily, makes me happy!!!!! and thank you for performing "stay with me" during the encore. i LOVE it!

I'm getting married to my girlfriend of 7 years on Sunday, August 1st of this year, and our first dance is going to be to John Legend's "Stay With You". We've got a couple of very good singers, and they would need an instrumental/karaoke version of this classic song, but I cannot find it ANYWHERE~!
Can someone help us out w/this? We're talking about a legit source, not some Bittorrent location or anything like that...
It would be a dream come true for us to have Our First Dance® to this song as it hold deep sentimental value for us. Many of our "firsts" happened with this magnificent song playing in the background! It's LITERALLY part of the soundtrack of our lives and any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.
