By now, you’ve listened to John’s Evolver and noticed some big musical steps. Well, that’s certainly no accident. John views his three albums as a progression, with one album building on the last. That’s why he’s gone from soul to funk. But that’s not to say he’s tossed out his piano! Admittedly, the thought of typecasting played a role in Evolver, but John isn’t abandoning soul, he just wants to show all of you his many sides as an artist.
